Job Description

Southwest International Trucks has an opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor to join our team in Dallas.  We are seeking highly motivated individuals with strong customer service and management skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with service customers to determine the nature of the mechanical problems
  • Secure agreement with customer before repair
  • Determine warranty eligibility
  • Prioritize repairs needed to be completed to the mechanics
  • Follow-up on repair with mechanics/ keep customers informed
  • Handle telephone inquiries/return phone calls
  • Maintain the upkeep of the shop
  • Assist the Service Manager as needed


Pay is driven by commission, your success is limited only by your skills, initiative and desire to succeed. 

Job Requirements

Required:  High School diploma or equivalent and 3 or more years minimum experience as a Service Advisor, preferably in the Heavy Duty Truck Industry.

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record, CDL a plus
  • Sales Skills and ability to make appropriate service recommendations
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid computer skills-must be able to enter data accurately and quickly
  • Ability to problem solve in an efficient and effective manner
  • Able to Work Saturday Rotation
