Job Description

Southwest International Trucks is currently seeking a Heavy Duty Collision Technician for our Arlington location.

Job Responsibilities may include: 

  • Repair unibody structural damage.
  • Replace and repair body panels.
  • Replace damaged wiring harnesses, or reinstall harnesses after body repair.
  • Remove and reinstall interiors.
  • File, grind and sand repaired surfaces
  • Dry box repairs.
  • Reefer box repairs.
  • FRP repairs on Box trucks.
  • Performs work as outlined on repair order.
  • Communicates with Parts Department to obtain needed parts.
  • Advises Body Shop Manager if additional work is needed.     
  • Maintains safe work environment by adhering to work standards and practices.
  • Complete daily paperwork.

Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • 3 years hands on experience with body shop and collision work
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record, CDL a plus
  • Possess own tools and tool box
